Dimensions:
Strong miniature of a gent facing forward with powdered hair wearing a blue coat with white stock. Watercolour on ivory by William Grimaldi, signed with the artist's initials and dated 1800 on the obverse. The reverse is signed September 1801. Period gold shell frame, the reverse with hair decoration set on a foiled white opaline glass, the centre set with pearl initials on blue glass.
