Colourful miniature of a gent facing front wearing a powdered wig. He is sporting a blue jacket with red collar and a white buttoned wasitcoat with tied cravat. Watercolour on ivory by Thomas Hull, signed with artist's initials on the obverse C1795. Original gold shell frame, the reverse with central plaited hair cartouche set with pearl initials 'JM' and blue glass surround.
