Miniature of a gent facing front, wearing a blue jacket over a white waistcoat and stock.  Watercolour on ivory by Thomas Hazlehurst C1795,  signed with artist's initials on obverse.  Original gold shell frame, the reverse with decorative hair set on white opaline glass surrounding a central blue glass panel with gold initials and pearl border.
