Combined enamel bonbonniere and scent, the pink-ground with white bianco sopra bianco decoration and scrolls heightened with gold leaf. The front and back have differing outdoor scenes on the base and floral depictions on a white ground on the top. The copper gilt central mounts hinge open to reveal an internal compartment to house sweet meats while the bird stopper pulls off to access the perfume. Bilston C1770.
