Charming sewing etui created from a real Spanish walnut shell. The silver mounts hinge open to reveal its internal contents which consist of a silver thimble, stiletto, needlecase, scissors and bodkin mainly with French decharge marks. These all sit within an ornately engraved panel. French mid 19th Century.
