Pink enamel etui decorated with couple Bilston C1770

Enamel pink-ground etui with bianco-sopra-bianco decoration and raised gold-leaf swags.  The central front vignette is hand-painted with a seated couple in a courtyard, the reverse with a pastoral scene.  The top half has painted floral depiction vignettes on a white ground.  The ornate copper gilt mounts hinge open to reveal its contents; scissors, folding gilded fruit knife, pencil and writing tablet, steel tweezers, gilt combined earscoop and toothpick.  (One implement missing).  Bilston C1770.
