Copper gilt etui embossed with swags and flowers and a lone figure of a man in Roman attire on the front. This is attached to its original chatelaine which encompasses a Roman bust on the top and has 2 hinged thimble holders attached. The etui hinges open to reveal its contents: Folding fruit knife, scissors, combined toothpick and ear scoop, combined tweezers and file, pencil and writing tablet. French C1765.
