Very rare rectangular enamel box. The white-ground base is painted with polychrome floral sprigs, the lid has been repoussed as a cherub wrapped in a dark pink cloth, holding a bow. The grey enamel background has been painted with colourful flowers and leaves and has a quiver of arrows behind the cherub. Bilston C1770.
