Bilston octagonal enamel hunting box C1770

Unusual enamel octagonal snuff box. The base and edges have alternating coloured vertical  stripes of pink, black white and blue and the base has 4 hand-painted differing vignettes of pastoral scenes.  The top has a colourful hand-painted depiction of a hunting scene with 4 horsemen, one with bugle, alongside a large pack of dogs, chasing a fox.  There is a large white building in the background, presumably the huntsman's lodge.  Bilston C1770.
