Scent bottle with sulphide C1840

Flat round scent bottle with a central crystallo ceramie of a couple dressed in Roman attire, standing beside a plinth with a burning flame.  The border is engraved with a hob-nail design, the reverse with a larger pattern.  Silver screw-on top .  St Louis, France C1840.
